Motion Designer - Advisors Creative Desk

About the role

The Advisors Creative Desk (ACD) sits within Mastercard's Services team, which provides consulting, marketing, loyalty and analytics to financial institutions and merchants globally. The ACD creates engaging, forward-thinking marketing solutions for Mastercard clients. The English-speaking Motion Designer joins the growing creative team in Istanbul, working across the EEMEA region (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa), and collaborates closely with the creative team, project managers and the Mastercard Services team.

Key responsibilities

• Create compelling motion, video and visual assets for Mastercard and partner brands across multiple channels and platforms.
• Lead concept development and visual storytelling for short-form and long-form projects, with attention to motion design, typography, composition and animation craft.
• Deliver brand-consistent creative work using Mastercard's global visual identity and collaborate with creative, strategy and cross-functional teams.
• Adapt and localize content for diverse audiences and markets while keeping cultural relevance.
• Stay up to date on trends, technologies and best practices in motion design, animation and creative production.
• Manage several projects at once within structured timelines and fast-paced environments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the creative or advertising industry, in an agency or in-house setting.
• Advanced written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
• Creative mindset with a sharp eye for motion design, typography and composition.
• Able to communicate design decisions clearly to stakeholders and work well in cross-functional, multi-hub teams.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Experience with Blender is a plus.
• Solid understanding of animation principles and their use in storytelling.
• Ability to apply 3D animation and video editing to raise project quality.
