About the role

VFS Global is seeking an Operations Deputy Manager to lead its Visa Application Centre in Ankara. The role combines operational oversight, team leadership, and client relationship management to ensure high‑quality service for diplomatic missions and foreign nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the business unit’s profitability and achieve EBIT targets set by the region.
• Develop and maintain relationships with consulate officials and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Mentor teams, enforce SOPs, and drive ISO‑aligned processes.
• Monitor unit efficiency, productivity, and expense budgets.
• Lead process enhancements, new roll‑outs, and internal certifications.
• Oversee physical and data security, ensuring adherence to corporate security policies.
• Deliver regular product and process training to staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in travel, tourism or a service‑industry environment.
• Proven experience managing teams and operational processes.
• Ability to handle customer queries and complaints with adaptability.
• Preferably residing in Ankara and fluent in Turkish.
