Operations and Common Premises Internship

About the role

The Operations and Common Premises Intern will support the Admin and Common Premises Associate in managing shared services for UNDP's Istanbul Regional Hub, collaborating with operations, programme, and partner staff.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in coordination of shipments, customs clearance, insurance, space management and office procurement.
• Record and monitor utilities payments and manage cleaning and catering services.
• Support protocol matters, staff registration and other administrative tasks.
• Coordinate diplomatic pouch schedules, collection, distribution and direct correspondence.
• Provide registry services, follow up on email requests and ensure nothing is missed.
• Support cleaning personnel coordination and other tasks for the Common Premises coordinator.

Required profile

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a postgraduate or final year bachelor programme in Business, Public Administration or related field.
• Excellent relationship‑management, communication and analytical abilities.
• Well‑organized, able to multi‑task and work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Turkish or another UN language is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong IT literacy.
