Part-Time SEO & Content Marketing Lead

About the role

Nizmara, an executive search and recruitment consultancy supporting companies across Turkey, Europe and the Middle East, is looking for an experienced professional to take full ownership of its SEO, English-language content and WordPress operations. The role covers organic growth from strategy through implementation, replacing the need for a separate SEO agency. It is a hands-on position working directly with the founding partners, with about 12-16 hours per week and agreed availability.

Key responsibilities

• SEO strategy and organic growth: keyword research, search intent and competitor analysis, content clusters, on-page optimisation, digital PR and backlink outreach, and monitoring of traditional and AI-powered search.
• Technical SEO: regular audits, crawlability, indexation, sitemaps, canonical tags, broken links, redirects, structured data, mobile usability, page speed and Core Web Vitals, plus SEO work during redesigns and migrations.
• Content strategy and production: editorial calendar, English-language service pages, articles and guides, and content for CEOs, CHROs and hiring decision-makers, published in WordPress.
• WordPress management: routine administration, page builders, themes and plugins, backups, caching, image optimisation, layout checks and safe deployment.
• Analytics and reporting: GA4, Google Search Console and conversion tracking, with a prioritised backlog and clear delivery schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience independently managing SEO projects from strategy to implementation.
• Strong technical SEO expertise, with examples of issues diagnosed and resolved.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills.
• Experience building credible links and authority through outreach.
• Sound judgment when using AI tools and evaluating their outputs.
• Strong prioritization, documentation and quality control skills.
• Preferably experience with B2B services, professional services or international English-language websites.

Required skills

• Practical WordPress administration and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• GA4, Google Search Console, a crawling tool such as Screaming Frog, and a research platform such as Ahrefs or Semrush.
