Partner Relations Intern - Merchant Acquisition

About the role

viravira.co is a marketplace operating in a two-sided market, connecting renters and boat owners. Its merchant team manages the boat owner portfolio, and the Partner Relations Intern assists senior managers in maintaining and expanding this portfolio. The intern also helps boat owners solve their problems and feel valued; high-performing candidates are hired after the internship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in acquiring new boat owners and help onboard them via website, phone or email.
• Prepare and monitor boat owner and listing KPIs and report to management.
• Support the sales team when needed.
• Recommend marketing strategies to acquire new merchants.
• Pass feedback from boat owners to the product team so merchant-related processes can be improved.

Required profile

• Senior undergraduate or postgraduate student or new graduate in business administration, mass communications, sales, marketing, advertising or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; an additional language is a plus.
• Positive, professional and outgoing, able to work in a team and directly with clients.
• Enthusiasm for business development and sales, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, multi-tasking and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
