About the role
kodland is looking for a passionate programmer to teach Python to children aged 5‑17. This remote, part‑time freelance position lets you share your coding enthusiasm while helping young learners create their first projects.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver fun and interactive Python lessons using provided materials.
- Develop your teaching skills under the guidance of experienced kodland teachers.
- Share feedback on lessons with the kodland team.
- Report regularly on student progress and suggest improvements.
- Represent kodland positively and contribute creative ideas to support students.
- Attend all training and support sessions throughout the hiring process.
Required profile
- Intermediate level Python experience.
- At least 10 hours per week availability.
- Fluent English (C1 level) and love for teaching children.
- Willingness to work flexible hours (weekday 3‑9 pm GMT, weekend 9 am‑9 pm GMT).
- Pass a digital skills test to demonstrate coding abilities.
- Stable internet (minimum 20 Mbps), webcam, headset and a quiet workspace.
