Payroll Specialist

About the role

Boeing Turkey Aviation and Trade is hiring a Payroll Specialist for its Teknopark, Pendik office in Istanbul. The specialist executes and supports payroll for Turkey and smaller regional payrolls (Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan), working accurately and compliantly with local payroll vendors, external providers and cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll runs, validate payrolls in assigned countries and manage pre-payroll checks, data cleansing and exceptions
• Reconcile payroll outputs, investigate discrepancies, run root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with local and global payroll vendors (e.g. CloudPay, TCS, PwC) and platform owners (Workday, ServiceNow)
• Maintain country-specific payroll process documentation and transaction-level work instructions
• Support testing and deployment of payroll system changes, patches and enhancements
• Produce regular payroll reports, track KPIs and escalate compliance and risk issues to the manager
• Ensure compliance with local payroll laws, tax rules and statutory reporting, and support vendor team onboarding and training
• Take part in continuous improvement and suggest automation opportunities

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands-on payroll experience supporting Turkish and other regional payrolls
• 3+ years with at least one global payroll platform and vendor-managed environments (CloudPay, PwC, Workday, ServiceNow)
• 3+ years of exposure to payroll reconciliations, statutory compliance and reporting
• Strong knowledge of Turkish payroll legislation, social security, taxes and filings
• Fluency in English and Turkish; no visa sponsorship offered

Required skills

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR or a related field
• Preferred: familiarity with Kenya, Morocco, Ethiopia, South Africa, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan payroll concepts
• Preferred: gross-to-net calculations, benefits, deductions, off-cycle payments and root-cause troubleshooting
• Preferred: understanding of HR data flows and strong spreadsheet skills
