Planning Lead

About the role

Kerry is seeking a Planning Lead to drive production, supply, and material planning at its Dilovası site in Turkey. You will be responsible for aligning planning activities with business strategy, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and supporting the company's commitment to sustainable nutrition.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production, supply, and material planning for the Dilovası plant and traded goods.
• Set strategic direction and objectives for the planning department in line with overall business goals.
• Manage inventories, optimise stock levels, and implement stock‑at‑risk action plans.
• Provide accurate information to support production schedules and customer demand.
• Support strategic sourcing by delivering usage requirements to the commodity management group.
• Oversee purchase order execution under negotiated agreements and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Coordinate procurement, material, and logistics activities to guarantee timely delivery.
• Communicate supply‑chain issues proactively and propose mitigation options.
• Train, develop, and evaluate planning staff, fostering talent retention and succession planning.
• Identify and implement strategic supply‑chain improvements, monitoring performance with appropriate KPIs.
• Lead supply reviews, forecast capacity, and develop action plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or the food industry.
• Strong communication skills in Turkish and English, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of managing planning teams.
• Highly driven, organised and capable of executing strategic initiatives.
