About the role
The Plastic Design Executive will join the R&D and Quality Directorate at the Kocaeli plant, managing feasibility, design, validation and customer approval for new automotive plastic parts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage feasibility, design, validation and customer approval processes in new product development projects (FSS, BtP).
- Carry out plastic part design activities and produce related technical documentation.
- Support prototype, product launch and transition to mass production.
- Ensure projects meet quality, cost and timing targets.
- Manage design changes, cost improvements and alternative material studies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in product development and plastic part design within the automotive industry.
- Strong project management, problem‑solving and team management skills.
- Good command of English.
- Residing in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli.
Required skills
- Proficient in CAD software (NX Unigraphics, CATIA V5).
- Knowledge of plastic injection processes and product development.
- Experience with technical feasibility, quotation processes (RFQ, BOM), prototyping and testing.
