Process Engineer - Tissue Production

About the role

Hayat, a global FMCG group founded in 1987 with 16 brands including tissue paper products, is looking for a Process Engineer to join its Tissue Production team. The role contributes to transformative projects within the Consumer Group and is open to candidates living in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update departmental procedures and work instructions.
• Take part in internal process audits and act as an internal auditor.
• Review and continuously improve production methods to raise quality and cut costs, working with other departments.
• Take part in new product development projects.
• Monitor and analyse daily production and raw material consumption reports.
• Ensure production meets quality specifications and help resolve production issues.
• Ensure efficient use of labour, energy, machinery, materials and spare parts.
• Develop and run projects to improve energy efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in production processes, preferably in tissue manufacturing.
• Fluent English.
• Interest in AI and digital transformation in manufacturing, with the ability to use them for data analysis, reporting and problem solving.
• Willingness to live in or relocate to Kocaeli.

Required skills

• Knowledge of continuous improvement methods such as 5S, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• SAP experience is preferred.
