Process & Internal Control Specialist

About the role

Volkswagen Doğuş Finans (vdf), a joint venture between Volkswagen Financial Services A.G. and Doğuş Group founded in 1999, provides financing solutions for Volkswagen Group brands and second-hand vehicles. It is looking for a Process and Internal Control Specialist to assess process risks, design and improve processes, review internal controls and support audits.

Key responsibilities

• Assess process risks, evaluate gaps and develop recommendations for improvements
• Design and develop processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform internal control reviews across operational, financial and compliance processes, document findings and monitor remediation
• Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls, policies, procedures and governance structures
• Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and Volkswagen Financial Services Overseas AG standards
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audit-related activities
• Work closely with all departments and prepare concise reports for management with observations and improvement actions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in process management, internal control, internal audit, compliance or a similar role
• Knowledge of internal process management and control frameworks; insurance and/or fleet management know-how is a plus
• Fluent English, written and spoken
