Procurement Manager

About the role

The company, a leading FMCG player, seeks a Procurement Manager to strengthen its procurement organisation, ensuring supply continuity and cost optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve procurement strategy and processes aligned with business objectives.
• Lead raw material procurement planning based on production forecasts, inventory levels and production plans.
• Manage strategic raw material and supplier relationships, identifying and developing new suppliers and alternative sources.
• Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers, including pricing and payment conditions.
• Monitor procurement costs, budget performance and drive cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Evaluate supplier performance on quality, cost, delivery and service, and implement improvement actions.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and R&D to resolve raw material quality issues and non‑conformities.
• Oversee sample, technical documentation, RMVR and trial order processes for new materials and supplier projects.
• Analyse inventory levels and variances to maintain optimal stock.
• Manage domestic and international procurement processes in line with orders, forecasts and supply plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of procurement management experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven team leadership and management experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a results‑oriented mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
• Good command of English.
