Procurement & Supply Chain Chief – Data Center Project

About the role

Serban İnşaat, a technology‑focused construction company within Açık Holding, is looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Chief to lead procurement activities for a new Data Center project in Ümraniye (Dudullu), İstanbul. The role oversees the full procurement lifecycle, from supplier selection to delivery, ensuring alignment with project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies in coordination with project commercial governance and construction requirements.
• Lead procurement execution, material flow, and warehouse activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage supplier selection, tendering, onboarding, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, framework agreements, and subcontract procurement processes.
• Monitor procurement budgets, commitments, and cost performance together with Cost Control and Planning teams.
• Identify supply‑chain risks, especially long‑lead items, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate closely with Engineering, Construction, QA/QC, Planning, and Logistics functions for timely delivery.
• Provide regular procurement, logistics, and cost tracking reports for project commercial governance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Industrial) or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in large‑scale construction projects, with at least 5 years in a managerial procurement, supply‑chain, or logistics role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, subcontractor coordination, and logistics operations.
• Experience with international contracting practices and FIDIC‑based contracts is preferred.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking) and residence in İstanbul (preferably Asian side).
