Product Promotion Specialist – Oncology (6-month term, Istanbul)

About the role

AstraZeneca's oncology business unit in Turkey is looking for a Product Promotion Specialist to join its team in Istanbul (Anatolia side). The role covers scientific promotion activities for healthcare professionals, including doctor and pharmacy visits, and is advertised as a temporary position of about six months.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scientific promotion activities for healthcare professionals and share the necessary medical information
• Promote products within their approved indications and raise awareness among healthcare professionals
• Develop innovative projects for key units
• Run promotional techniques such as Doctor Group Activities, Pharmacy Group Activities, product information dinners, shift presentations, e-promotion, sample distribution and visual materials during doctor and pharmacy visits
• Inform pharmacies about promotional campaigns and track product consumption and stock levels
• Represent AstraZeneca on the relevant platforms according to the defined goals and strategies

Required profile

• University graduate; graduates in science faculties or people with oncology experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Good level of medical knowledge
• Category B driving licence and ability to drive safely
• No disability preventing travel
• For male candidates: completed military service
• Right to obtain the ÜTT qualification certificate and individual barcode under the 2015 Regulation on Promotion of Human Medicines
• Lives in Istanbul (Anatolian side)
