Production Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Production Engineer to join ZSR’s manufacturing facility in Balıkesir. The role focuses on overseeing production operations, ensuring efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement within a high‑technology defense environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up production processes within the assigned facility.
• Support the implementation of production plans and track performance against targets.
• Maintain production workflows and related documentation.
• Report on production performance and process efficiency.
• Monitor machinery and equipment utilization to ensure continuity.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet production goals.
• Collaborate closely with Quality, Production Planning, and Maintenance teams.
• Analyze production‑related issues and develop effective solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production operations, preferably in the defense industry.
• Strong reporting, analytical, planning and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken Turkish and English.
• Willingness to reside in Balıkesir and work effectively in a team environment.
