Production Manager Extrusion (PVC & PPR Pipes)

About the role

Wavin Orbia's Building & Infrastructure business is looking for a Production Manager Extrusion in Turkey to lead its PVC and PPR pipe extrusion lines. The role covers production performance, quality, team leadership and continuous improvement, working within an international team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee PVC and PPR pipe extrusion lines for safe, efficient, high-quality production
• Lead production performance, quality results and team management aligned with company targets
• Ensure process stability and drive continuous improvement (CI, Kaizen, 5S)
• Monitor key KPIs such as OEE, scrap rate, overweight, downtime and implement corrective actions
• Run root cause analysis for process and quality issues and coordinate with Maintenance, Supply Chain, Quality and other departments
• Ensure machinery is operated and maintained according to technical standards and lead new product set-ups and stabilisation
• Plan the workforce, lead shift-based teams and enforce HSE and quality standards on the shop floor
• Optimise energy usage, use ERP and production monitoring systems accurately, and report data-driven insights to senior management
• Stop production decisively when safety or quality compliance is at risk

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or related field)
• At least 10 years of experience in plastic pipe extrusion management (PVC and PPR required)
• Advanced spoken and written English

• Strong technical expertise in extrusion processes and equipment
• ERP systems and production tracking tools
• Knowledge of production KPIs and performance management
