Production Manager – Manufacturing Operations

About the role

PepsiCo is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimise manufacturing operations across multiple product lines. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality output that meets customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead production functions, including packaging, lean, engineering, shift leads and reporting.
• Manage direct labour and POH budgets, ensuring spend stays on target.
• Schedule optimal weekly production plans while minimising labour costs.
• Oversee volume distribution negotiations and ensure weekly production targets are met.
• Prepare cost, efficiency and plant scorecard reports.
• Guarantee food safety and personnel safety on all lines.
• Track performance metrics for basic, oil, seasoning and packaging efficiencies.
• Support R&D for new product trials and launches.
• Lead new line commissioning, capex projects and cash‑flow management.
• Manage packaging projects and ensure compliance with IPS and Weak Link standards.
• Coordinate training programmes for the production department.
• Maintain QCDM scorecard and share best practices with other plants.
