About the role
Greif is seeking a Production Operator to work on routine production machinery, ensuring parts are produced to specification and quality standards. The role involves measuring finished parts, maintaining production logs, and keeping the work area clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Operate routine production machinery according to prints and specifications.
- Measure finished parts with precision tools to verify functional, quality, and cosmetic standards.
- Maintain logs of units produced and report any errors that lead to rejected pieces.
- Inspect equipment before use, perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly, and compliant with safety regulations.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1‑2 years of relevant production experience.
- Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
Required skills
- Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
- Solid understanding of production equipment and basic maintenance procedures.
