Project Assistant Manager – Site Capital Projects

About the role

The Project Assistant Manager will support end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects at the Konya site, covering safety, quality, infrastructure, and equipment improvements. Reporting to the Site Project Delivery Manager, you will coordinate technical activities from concept through completion while ensuring compliance with standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of engineering projects under the guidance of the Engineering Lead, ensuring stakeholder engagement and clear communication.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor projects, checking feasibility, estimating costs and creating timelines in collaboration with Quality, Safety, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Marketing, R&D and plant teams.
• Develop Concept, FEED and Detailed Designs with internal and external partners, incorporating local requirements.
• Execute projects according to schedule and budget, managing site construction, contractors and OEMs while applying Unilever construction safety standards.

Required profile

• BS in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Automation Engineering.
• 3‑5+ years of engineering experience in FMCG, related industry or engineering consultancy.
• Practical knowledge of process control, loop tuning, PLC/HMI and instrumentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to negotiate.

Required skills

• AutoCAD design and visualization.
• Siemens PLC (Simatic Manager, TIA Portal) and SCADA (WinCC, WinCC Flexible).
• Allen Bradley, Schneider PLC, DCS (DeltaV) platforms.
• Machinery safety systems programming (Pilz, Sick).
• Instrumentation and pneumatic systems.
