Project Director – Solar PV (Sivas, Turkey)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large‑scale solar PV projects in Sivas, Turkey. The role oversees the full project lifecycle from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and commercial operation, ensuring compliance with PPA, EPC and O&M agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the project is executed according to PPA/EPC contracts, meeting safety, environmental, quality, schedule and budget targets.
• Monitor plant design, procurement, construction, commissioning and testing in coordination with the Owner’s Engineer.
• Approve EPC contractor expenditures and review monthly progress and budget reports for the Board of Directors.
• Manage relationships with the off‑taker, dispatch and transmission companies and resolve escalated risks and issues.
• Lead a team of engineers and risk managers, set performance targets and oversee construction activities to meet specifications and milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 14 years of project management experience, including at least 5 years in PV technology.
• Proven EPC experience on IPP projects and delivery of at least two full‑cycle large PV projects.
• Professional Engineering registration and PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Fluent English with strong written and oral communication skills.
