Project Manager - Telecom Projects

About the role

PiA delivers custom IT business solutions and managed services, especially in Business Support Systems, for telecom service providers in Turkey and EMEA. It is looking for a Project Manager who will lead telecom projects end to end, from scope definition to delivery, keeping them on time, on budget and aligned with stakeholder expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives with the customer and internal teams.
• Estimate resources with subject matter leads and manage them effectively.
• Prepare the project budget and track costs against it.
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on strategy, adjustments and progress.
• Manage contracts with vendors, suppliers and subcontractors, assigning tasks and setting clear expectations.
• Monitor progress, adjust as needed and measure performance to identify improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field.
• 5-12 years of project management and related experience.
• Experience managing projects through their full life cycle, with at least 3-4 projects delivered end to end.
• Very good English, able to communicate with international teams.
• Nice to have: PMP certification, telecom sector experience, and hands-on background in software development, architecture or testing (SDLC).

Required skills

• Strong familiarity with project management tools, methodologies and best practices.
• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Creative problem-solving.
