Purchasing Manager - Electronic Components

About the role

WIN SOURCE, a global electronic components distributor founded in 1999, is looking for a Purchasing Manager who will handle sourcing activities and strengthen global supply chain security and competitiveness. The role uses industry experience, supplier networks and market insight to expand global sourcing channels, build strategic supplier partnerships and take part in electronic component sourcing and supply risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate and maintain global electronic component suppliers, including manufacturers, authorized distributors, independent distributors and other reliable sourcing channels.
• Expand qualified sourcing channels for key components to improve supply diversity and competitiveness.
• Evaluate supplier reliability, product authenticity, traceability and supply interruption risks, working with quality teams to ensure supply security.
• Manage RFQs, price negotiations, lead-time confirmation, purchasing terms and key sourcing projects.
• Monitor global semiconductor market trends, inventory changes, pricing trends, supply-demand dynamics and product lifecycle developments.
• Build long-term supplier partnerships and work with global sales, procurement, quality and logistics teams to solve complex sourcing needs.
• Optimize supplier structures and improve supply chain flexibility, reliability and resilience.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in electronic components procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development or related supply chain roles.
• Strong understanding of global electronic component supply markets, semiconductor distribution and major sourcing channels.
• Established supplier relationships and the ability to independently develop and maintain sourcing channels.
• Understanding of manufacturers, authorized distributors and independent distributors, and their value and risks.
• Proactive mindset, ownership and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
