Purchasing Specialist

About the role

The Purchasing Specialist will manage the full procurement cycle, from gathering requests to final invoice verification. You will work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery, cost‑effective sourcing, and compliance with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Collect purchase requests, obtain quotations, evaluate offers, and issue purchase orders.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve optimal cost and quality.
• Conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities and alternatives.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives and contribute to overall procurement efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal departments to guarantee accurate and on‑time fulfillment of purchasing needs.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation using SAP systems.
• Track supplier performance metrics and generate periodic reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and cost analysis.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilities.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented team player with strong organizational skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Required skills

• SAP procurement modules.
• Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
