Quality Advisor – Operations

About the role

Subsea7 is looking for an Operations Quality Advisor to support onshore installation campaigns for soft, rigid and FPU products. Reporting to the Deputy Project Quality Manager and the three Package Project Managers, the role can be based in Istanbul, Sutton, Paris or Kuala Lumpur.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the focal point for all QA and QC matters during installation campaigns.
• Coordinate OSCA reviews, ensuring risks are identified and mitigations are in place.
• Own and oversee the Operational Quality Assurance Plan for critical scopes.
• Review installation procedures and identify quality intervention points.
• Coordinate inspection and surveillance activities on vessels and at Filyos Marine Base.
• Participate in PHA and HIRAS studies for installation campaigns.
• Support pre‑commissioning activities, including KOM, ITP approval and equipment documentation.
• Track and report quality performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience with installation of soft/rigid and FPU products such as umbilicals, flexibles, risers and titanium stress joints.
• Background in reviewing installation procedures and managing QA/QC in subsea projects.
• Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Broad understanding of subsea codes, standards and offshore operations.
• Previous experience in a dedicated installation engineering or quality role within the subsea/offshore industry.
