Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our Operations team at the Kraft Heinz plant in Susurluk, Balıkesir. In this role you will manage the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) system, ensure compliance with standards, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality activities in line with product specifications and customer requirements.
• Implement, maintain, and improve food safety systems such as HACCP, GMPs, environmental monitoring, and sanitation programs.
• Prepare the plant for regulatory, customer, and certification audits and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Track and analyse FSQ performance metrics, launching improvement projects to reduce complaints and enhance compliance.
• Support production planning to achieve first‑time right production and maintain accurate records of non‑conformances.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitation plans according to Kraft Heinz and GMP requirements.
• Handle consumer and customer complaints and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Prepare QC reports that meet customer specifications.

Required profile

• Food Engineering degree.
• Minimum 1 year of quality control or quality management experience in a production environment, preferably FMCG.
• Good level of English.
• Residence in or around Balıkesir.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with SAP.
