R&D Engineer – HVAC Product Development

About the role

Baymak is seeking an R&D Engineer to join its product development team in Istanbul. You will be responsible for turning innovative concepts into market‑ready HVAC solutions, working across the full product lifecycle from design to mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead R&D activities covering design, analysis, testing, simulation and optimisation of heating and cooling products.
• Develop new products, improve existing ones and create complete product files following project‑management standards.
• Participate in process‑improvement, cost‑reduction and efficiency studies.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, production, quality assurance, planning, purchasing and logistics departments.
• Maintain relationships with universities, research centres, test facilities, government agencies and suppliers relevant to R&D tasks.

Required profile

• Graduated from an engineering faculty, preferably Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of R&D experience in heating & cooling, automotive or white‑goods sectors.
• Strong command of English.
• Good CAD knowledge.
• Team player with strong communication skills, result‑oriented mindset.
• Completed mandatory military service (for male candidates).
• Willingness to reside in Istanbul Anatolian Side, Gebze or nearby areas.
