Regional Export Manager – Europe & CIS

About the role

A client in the production sector is looking for an Export Regional Manager covering Europe and CIS. The role suits a commercially driven professional who has proven success in opening markets, acquiring customers and turning opportunities into paid orders and recurring business.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• At least 7 years of experience in export sales and international business within the beverage industry.
• Demonstrable FMCG export sales and business development results in Europe and/or CIS.
• Experience in customer acquisition, market entry and recurring order generation.
• Established relationships with distributors, importers, wholesalers and retail buyers across Europe and CIS, plus practical experience in distributor management, pricing, negotiations and sales forecasting.
• Availability for regular international travel.

Required skills

• Professional fluency in English, enough to negotiate, present and write commercial correspondence; German, Russian or another regional language is a plus.
• Strong understanding of export pricing, channel margins, Incoterms and international payment terms.
• Pipeline management and accountability for sales, profitability and collections.
• Direct experience with retail chains, including buyer negotiations, tenders, listings and supply requirements.
• Experience in sports nutrition, functional foods, healthy snacks or beverages, and in developing convenience, petrol station, e-commerce or HoReCa channels.
