Sales Account Manager

About the role

Supermicro is seeking a proactive and passionate Sales Account Manager to manage customer accounts, drive sales through active prospecting, and develop strategic relationships with system integrators, VARs, and OEMs. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring successful order fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and handle assigned accounts to achieve quota.
• Develop and supervise customer service relationships with accounts and prospects.
• Monitor inventory, negotiate prices, and manage orders from start to delivery, including credit issues and after‑sales services.
• Conduct outbound cold calls to potential customers such as system integrators, VARs, and OEMs.
• Qualify opportunities, create target lists for vertical markets, and consistently achieve leads and quota.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (not essential).
• Exceptional organizational skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and proactive, positive attitude.
• Experience in a server sales environment preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills across multiple cultures.
• Passionate about sales activities with strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
