Sales Director – Turkey

About the role

Trafimet, a global leader in welding and cutting torches, is seeking a Sales Director to lead its Turkish subsidiary. The role is responsible for overall performance, profitability and strategic growth in Turkey.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Turkish subsidiary in line with Trafimet’s strategy, develop annual business plans and long‑term growth strategies.
• Own full P&L responsibility, set and monitor financial targets, budgets and forecasts, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Drive sales and commercial activities, build relationships with key customers, distributors and partners, and identify new market opportunities.
• Develop and manage the local team, foster a high‑performance culture, ensure compliance with labor legislation and promote an inclusive work environment.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 8‑10 years of experience managing a commercial business unit or subsidiary in an international industrial setting.
• Proven track record in sales growth, business development and full P&L responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of the Turkish welding market is highly desirable.
