Sales Manager Pharma Solutions

About the role

The Sales Manager Pharma Solutions will drive sustainable business growth for BASF in the pharmaceutical sector. You will develop strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities and act as a key link between customers, external stakeholders and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary local sales contact for Global and Local Key Accounts, building long‑term relationships.
• Drive profitable growth by managing existing accounts, acquiring new customers and identifying new applications.
• Manage distributors in Turkey and other markets, set targets, monitor performance and conduct business reviews.
• Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with regional and global business plans.
• Prepare sales budgets, monitor forecasts and pipelines, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct market and competitor analyses and translate insights into commercial actions.
• Maintain relationships with industry organisations, universities and governmental institutions and represent BASF at events.
• Coordinate with regional and global teams on cross‑regional projects and new product introductions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, chemical engineering or a related field.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, account management or a related commercial function.
• Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset, customer orientation and ability to identify new business opportunities.
• Proven ability to manage key accounts, distributors and multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English and Turkish.
