Senior Account Manager Middle East - A2P Messaging

About the role

Raza Engage, the CPaaS venture of the Raza Group, is looking for a seasoned Senior Account Manager to drive its A2P messaging business across the Middle East. You will manage existing wholesale messaging relationships and spearhead new business development to grow revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and increase profitability of active messaging customers and suppliers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and develop innovative SMS trading strategies.
• Negotiate SMS service contracts, SLAs and termination rates, working closely with legal.
• Create, evaluate and price wholesale traffic swap deals, including SS7 and SMPP routes.
• Act as the primary contact for customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Routing, Finance and Technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor customer performance on quality and cost metrics.

Required profile

• University degree in business, marketing, economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven telecom wholesale experience in messaging, including traffic exchange and swap deals.
• Extensive network and expertise in identifying valuable SMS partners.
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical ability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Team player, target‑driven and able to work under pressure.

• Horisen SMS platform (preferred).
• In‑depth knowledge of the A2P SMS market.
