Senior Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team of a leading international company. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where you will play a key role in accounting operations, financial integrity, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily accounting activities in accordance with company policies and accounting principles.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes accurately and on time.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of General Ledger accounts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and ensure accurate financial records.
• Monitor accounting transactions and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit activities by providing required documentation.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient accounting processes.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Participate in SAP FI‑related accounting activities and support system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in General Ledger or Corporate Accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and month‑end closing processes.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP FI.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Advanced level of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and multinational environment.
• Experience in multinational companies is considered a strong advantage.
• CPA (SMMM) certification is a plus.
