Senior Accounting Associate – Remote (US‑Based)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join Manay CPA remotely. The role focuses on U.S. accounting and tax practices, supporting a diverse client base across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead onboarding for new clients, designing accounting system setups and ensuring smooth transitions.
• Manage day‑to‑day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, monthly closings, and preparation of financial reports.
• Prepare and review payroll, sales tax returns, depreciation schedules, and other accounting documents.
• Lead audit preparation and oversee end‑to‑end reconciliation processes.
• Analyze financial data to forecast revenue, evaluate profit margins, and provide insights.
• Prepare and file U.S. corporate and individual income tax returns, including 1099s and year‑end filings.
• Research complex tax and accounting issues and propose practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve clients’ accounting, tax, and financial processes.
• Participate in company‑wide improvement initiatives and mentor junior team members.

Required profile
