Senior Android Developer (E-Commerce)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Android Developer to lead the creation of user‑facing experiences for our e‑commerce mobile application. You will design fast, reliable journeys from product discovery through checkout, collaborating closely with product owners and backend teams.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the mobile app architecture following established technical standards.
• Develop end‑to‑end features and maintain them in production.
• Integrate backend services, secure authentication flows, and implement push notifications.
• Optimize performance for low‑latency, smooth user interactions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Build a testable codebase, manage releases and versioning on the Play Store.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional mobile application development experience.
• Proven ability to work with modern Android tooling and AI‑assisted coding assistants.
• Strong collaboration skills with product, design, and backend teams.
• Experience delivering critical e‑commerce user journeys in a production environment.

Required skills

• Kotlin and Jetpack Compose
• Android MVVM or MVI architectural patterns
• Multi‑module architecture and Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger)
• REST API integration, JWT authentication, Coroutines and Flow
• Local data storage, caching, and in‑app data management
• Firebase services (FCM, Analytics, Crashlytics) or equivalent
• App performance profiling and memory management
• Unit and UI test automation
• Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Play Store release and version management
• AI‑assisted coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor
