Senior Clinical Project Manager – Oncology

About the role

IQVIA Biotech is seeking an experienced Clinical Project Manager to lead oncology clinical studies across regional or global programs. The role focuses on delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards while partnering closely with customers and internal functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned clinical studies, optimizing speed, quality and cost while adhering to study tools, training and compliance processes.
• Set objectives for the core project team, communicate expectations and assess performance.
• Develop integrated study management plans and collaborate with cross‑functional groups to achieve milestones.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and lead problem‑solving and corrective actions.
• Maintain financial performance of the project, forecast revenue opportunities and manage scope changes.
• Serve as primary or backup contact for the customer, building strong relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including more than 1 year in project management.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial conduct and regulatory requirements (ICH GCP, local laws).
• Experience managing project financials and contractual obligations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and strong customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, make decisions and mentor junior staff.
