Senior Financial Reporting Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our international, talent‑driven team in Sarıyer, Istanbul. The role supports financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and performance analysis, acting as a trusted business partner for strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports, variance analyses and financial performance reviews.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes.
• Analyze revenue, margin, operating expenses, cash flow and key business drivers.
• Support month‑end and quarter‑end financial review activities and develop financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Monitor actual results against budget/forecast and provide actionable insights.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and contribute to process improvements and reporting automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial controlling, budgeting or reporting (audit firm experience a plus).
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills; self‑driven and detail‑oriented.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JDE Edwards or Hyperion.
• Knowledge of IFRS; familiarity with US GAAP is an advantage.
• Understanding of Business Intelligence tools (advantage).
