Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer

About the role

AppNava builds ML prediction models such as lifetime value and churn, helping teams make smarter growth decisions with predictive analytics. It is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys owning meaningful problems end to end. This is a hands-on full-stack engineering role covering backend services, web applications, cloud infrastructure and agentic systems, with close work with customers and teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain full-stack features and agentic systems for the end-to-end data science platform.
• Own work from discovery through delivery, clarifying requirements and making pragmatic technical decisions.
• Partner with customers and internal teams to understand technical issues and deliver durable solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve complex backend and frontend issues, focusing on reliability, performance and usability.
• Improve engineering practices through code reviews, documentation and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, and comfort communicating with customers and explaining technical concepts.
• Professional written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Strong Python skills and backend service experience; Django is highly valued.
• Modern web development; React or a comparable frontend framework is a plus.
• Agentic systems, model-training systems or AI-assisted development workflows are highly valued.
• Cloud infrastructure and production deployments.
• Nice to have: data products, analytics platforms, relational databases or distributed services, and startup experience.
