Senior Operations Manager - Tchibo Coffee Service

About the role

Tchibo Coffee Service Turkey is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the operational organization of the business and prepare it for future growth. The role shapes the future operating model, identifies improvement opportunities and leads strategic operational projects to build a more efficient, scalable and sustainable organization. It covers supply chain, logistics, warehousing, import and export, technical service and operational excellence, working closely with commercial, finance and Tchibo Group teams.

Key responsibilities

• Shape the future operational setup, identify efficiency, scalability, cost and service quality improvements, and lead transformation projects and KPIs for technical service, logistics and inventory.
• Lead demand and supply planning for machines and consumables, and optimize sourcing, logistics, distribution, pallet utilization, warehousing and inventory.
• Pursue direct sourcing, alternative supply models and cooperation with external partners, and drive cost and efficiency improvements across the supply chain.
• Manage and optimize import processes and international supply flows, ensuring efficient, compliant and scalable import and export.
• Lead and develop the in-house Technical Service organization, overseeing service operations, spare parts, technical infrastructure, showrooms and workshops.
• Expand the use of telemetry and digital solutions to track machines in the field, improve distributor data integration, and lead process digitalization, automation and continuous improvement.
• Ensure operational governance aligned with Tchibo Group standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience managing operations, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Proven experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, warehousing, import/export and technical service management.
• Strong experience leading transformation, optimization and cross-functional projects, plus proven leadership and team management.
• Fluency in English and Turkish; hands-on mindset.
