Senior Professor of Hotel Management

About the role

The Senior Professor of Hotel Management will deliver industry‑driven education to undergraduate, postgraduate and executive learners. Leveraging extensive executive hospitality experience, the role blends academic rigor with real‑world practice to shape the next generation of hospitality leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Teach modules covering hotel operations, rooms division, front office, hospitality strategy, service excellence, performance management, technology and PMS systems.
• Design and deliver student‑centred learning using business simulations, case studies, operational scenarios and applied projects.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments and learning materials aligned with programme outcomes.
• Mentor and advise students, supervise capstone projects, dissertations and consulting assignments.
• Continuously update curriculum to reflect AI, sustainability, revenue optimisation, luxury hospitality, digital guest experience and data analytics trends.
• Maintain strong industry links, organise guest speakers, company visits, internships and represent the institution at hospitality conferences.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in hotel management or related hospitality operations.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence at university or professional education level.
• Strong academic credentials (PhD or equivalent) in hospitality, tourism or business.
• Ability to mentor students and support diverse learning needs.
