Senior Specialist - Planning & Operations

About the role

Koç Kariyerim is looking for a Senior Specialist in Planning & Operations to join its Supply Chain Directorate, based in Çayırova, Istanbul. The role covers sales forecasting, supply planning, inventory control and supplier performance, working closely with Marketing & Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review and adjust the sales forecast using past data and the budget
• Determine supply planning activities for related suppliers and product categories
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure availability, balance supply and demand and keep Marketing & Sales informed of updated sales plans
• Review or update supply chain practices in line with new environmental policies, standards, regulations or laws
• Monitor sales performance and requests of global customers (subsidiaries and direct sales regions) to improve customer service
• Take part in monthly S&OP meetings to align supply and demand and contribute to forecasting
• Measure and plan improvements to supplier performance

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering department
• Experience in product/material planning, supply and procurement processes
• Knowledge of international trade and logistics operations
• Excellent verbal and written English
• Team player with initiative, flexible and open to new perspectives
