Software Craftsperson / Typescript – II

About the role

This remote position is for a hands‑on Software Craftsperson with 3–6 years of experience building scalable, production‑grade systems. You will own end‑to‑end development of TypeScript‑based backend services and AI‑powered applications, applying modern engineering practices and responsible AI principles.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs using TypeScript.
• Develop AI‑driven features and workflows with LLMs, AI agents, and frameworks such as OpenAI, Claude, and Mastra.
• Identify and mitigate technical and product risks, ensuring production readiness and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and align technical work with business outcomes.
• Mentor fellow engineers, promote knowledge sharing, and help adopt AI‑native development workflows.
• Build and integrate browser‑based experiences, including Chrome extensions, when required.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex production systems.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in TypeScript and production‑grade application development.
• Practical experience with AI/LLM applications, including agents and agentic workflows.
• Solid system‑design skills for scalable, maintainable, observable services.
• Excellent problem‑solving, ownership, communication, and collaboration abilities.
