Software Quality/Test Engineer

About the role

GÜRİŞ Technology is seeking a Software Quality/Test Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its cutting‑edge software solutions for energy and industrial automation projects. You will work closely with developers and analysts to validate functionality, integration, and system behavior across a range of renewable‑energy platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the full testing lifecycle from requirements analysis and test planning to release.
• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, regression and system testing.
• Perform API testing and verify data integrity across applications and databases.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and other stakeholders to investigate quality issues.
• Contribute to improving testing processes, automation coverage and overall software quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies; ISTQB certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Software testing methodologies and SDLC knowledge.
• SQL and database testing.
• Test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright or Cypress.
• API testing tools like Postman.
• CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
• Performance and load testing.
