Specialist IV – Repair & Maintenance

About the role

The Repair & Maintenance Specialist IV leads day‑to‑day shop operations, ensuring equipment reliability through preventive, corrective, retrofit and upgrade activities across electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team to achieve KPIs, schedule preventive maintenance and oversee daily operations, safety meetings and JHAs.
• Perform and supervise repairs, installations, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of a wide range of equipment, including data acquisition systems and downhole tools.
• Ensure compliance with work orders, documentation, root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage parts, supplies and equipment ordering according to Weatherford guidelines.
• Support LEAN initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of repair & maintenance experience in drilling services.
• High school or technical college diploma with strong electronic and mechanical background.
• Completed military service and advanced proficiency in Turkish and English.
• Ability to work safely with hazardous materials, NDT/NDE and ATEX principles.

Required skills

• Electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment maintenance.
• Testing and calibration of tools and systems.
• Use of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometres, etc.).
• Computer literacy: MS Office, Outlook.
