Strategic Customer Management Lead

About the role

As a Strategic Customer Management Lead at DFDS you will manage and grow a portfolio of strategic customers, driving new business opportunities, contract renewals and customer retention while collaborating across functions to deliver customer‑focused solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new opportunities and enhance the commercial pipeline aligned with the business plan.
• Target additional business, contract renewals and new customer acquisition for strategic products and markets.
• Manage the entire customer relationship within the Key Account Portfolio, building strong connections with client decision‑makers.
• Oversee sales activities, develop solutions based on client needs and identify tender opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal and external partners in the tender process, drive sales performance and update reporting systems.
• Facilitate SOP implementation, monitor operations through KPIs and ensure data integrity and prompt billing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Ability to deeply understand key account customers’ strategic intent and identify partnership opportunities.
• Strong business judgement and proven ability to influence others.
• Self‑motivated, result‑driven and able to exceed goals.
• Excellent communication, analytical, planning and organisational skills.
