Strategic Planning & Business Development Director

About the role

Lead the long‑term growth strategy of a publicly listed real estate organisation, working directly with executive leadership and the Board on high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute mid‑ and long‑term strategic plans.
• Monitor market, industry and competitive trends to spot growth opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate strategic planning across business functions and stakeholders.
• Identify, evaluate and execute new business opportunities, partnerships and growth initiatives.
• Conduct commercial, financial and strategic feasibility analyses for potential investments.
• Manage relationships with investors, analysts, rating agencies and other capital‑markets stakeholders.
• Oversee investor communications, earnings presentations, meetings and roadshow activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in strategic planning, business development, corporate finance, investment banking or private equity.
• Experience in publicly listed companies and familiarity with capital‑markets regulations and corporate governance.
• Proven track record in evaluating and executing strategic growth initiatives, investments, partnerships or M&A projects.
• Strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
