Supply Chain Assistant

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Supply Chain Assistant to support its operations in Ankara. The role assists the National Supply Chain Officer and the Supply Chain Associate in managing procurement, logistics, and asset management activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support procurement processes and liaise with vendors and service providers.
• Assist in logistics coordination, including transportation and delivery of goods.
• Maintain asset management records and ensure compliance with IOM/UN procedures.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on supply chain activities.
• Collaborate with national and international institutions to meet resource requirements.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field with at least two years of relevant experience, OR high school diploma with four years of experience.
• Experience in procurement, logistics, and working with vendors.
• Familiarity with IOM/UN procurement and logistics rules is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Turkish.
