Supply Chain & Procurement Manager

About the role

A manufacturing facility is looking for a dynamic, results-driven Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain, production planning, procurement, warehousing and logistics operations. The role ensures material availability, optimizes inventory and working capital, improves supplier performance and drives flow efficiency from material sourcing to customer delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end supply chain and procurement operations, from material sourcing and production planning to warehousing, logistics and customer delivery.
• Manage the Master Production Plan (MPP), capacity planning and material requirements in line with customer demand and production priorities.
• Optimize material flow, inventory levels, safety stocks and working capital while ensuring material availability and targeted service levels.
• Improve plant flow performance, including waiting queues, MPH, pull flow and warehousing efficiency.
• Monitor production progress, identify supply and capacity risks and ensure on-time, in-full delivery.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies and annual operational plans, and lead supplier negotiations and sourcing initiatives.
• Manage supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, lead time and flexibility.
• Oversee warehousing and logistics, ensuring efficient material handling, stock accuracy and optimal resource use.
• Identify and implement cost-saving, productivity and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, coach and develop the Supply Chain and Procurement teams, set objectives and drive performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on efficiency improvements and transformation initiatives.
• Monitor operational KPIs, provide management reports and ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards and occupational health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, production planning or operations within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Experience driving organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of supply chain planning, production planning, material flow, inventory management, procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar business systems; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
