Supply Planning Specialist

About the role

The Supply Planning Specialist will ensure uninterrupted supply of excipients and packaging materials for Abbott Türkiye’s third‑party manufacturing plants. Working closely with suppliers, procurement, quality and operations teams, you will manage purchase orders, inventory levels and SAP data to support production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute purchase orders for excipients and packaging, coordinating with suppliers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Maintain optimal inventory through regular monitoring, reconciliation and safety‑stock management.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation with TPMs and record material movements in SAP S/4HANA.
• Maintain Bill of Materials and production version data, run MRP runs and adjust for project‑specific requirements.
• Set and track annual/quarterly inventory budgets, identify adjustment opportunities impacting days‑on‑hand and cash flow.
• Proactively manage supplier relationships to anticipate and mitigate production or shipping issues.
• Collaborate with import, procurement, quality, finance and demand‑planning teams to resolve delivery challenges.
• Support NPI, equipment change and alternative‑equipment projects by providing material planning inputs.
• Update master data such as lead times, safety stock, minimum order quantities in SAP S/4HANA and MDG.
• Monitor slow‑moving and obsolete materials, drive mitigation actions and disposal plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply planning, inventory management and material coordination within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA (including MDG) and MRP processes.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
