Sustainability Senior Specialist

About the role

Çimsa is seeking a Sustainability Senior Specialist to lead the implementation of its ESG strategy, improve sustainability performance, and embed responsible practices across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of the company’s sustainability strategy, targets and action plans.
• Coordinate ESG data collection, validation, consolidation and reporting for the Integrated Annual Report, TSRS, CDP and other frameworks.
• Monitor and analyse sustainability KPIs, evaluate results and propose improvement measures.
• Assist ESG assessments and ratings such as BIST Sustainability Index, EcoVadis, FTSE4Good and UN Global Compact.
• Lead certification processes, including Concrete Sustainability Council (CSC) certification.
• Explore AI‑driven solutions to automate reporting, enhance data quality and generate actionable insights.
• Prepare presentations, reports and communication material for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate employee awareness programmes, sustainability training and CSR projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Environmental or Social Sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sustainability, ESG reporting or climate‑related roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and project‑management capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English and proven stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with ESG data collection, performance monitoring and reporting.
• Ability to leverage AI‑powered tools and digital technologies for ESG analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks (TSRS, GRI, CDP, EcoVadis, FTSE4Good, UN Global Compact).
• Familiarity with SAP or similar sustainability data‑management systems.
