System Specialist – IT Infrastructure

About the role

The System Specialist is responsible for the design, deployment, and ongoing management of our server and infrastructure environment. You will ensure the stability, security, and performance of Windows and Linux platforms while supporting critical business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and manage servers, operating systems (Windows, Linux) and related infrastructure components.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms.
• Oversee daily operations of Microsoft‑based applications.
• Implement security measures to protect system integrity.
• Perform regular backups, monitor backup health, and execute data recovery procedures.
• Execute operational tasks using system monitoring tools.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and procedures.
• Respond to service requests within defined SLA timelines.
• Coordinate support activities with vendors and third‑party providers.

Required profile

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of system administration concepts.
• Advanced English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking).
• Solid understanding of server, storage, backup, and virtualization architectures.
• Proven ability to diagnose root causes and develop scalable solutions.
• Calm under pressure with effective decision‑making skills.
